The March 16, 2026 episode of WWE RAW delivered a major night of action and storyline developments as WWE continued building toward WrestleMania 42. The show featured the return of Roman Reigns, a heated confrontation with CM Punk, Brock Lesnar issuing a WrestleMania challenge, and several matches across the men’s and women’s divisions.

Seth Rollins Hijacks the Show — Then Brock Lesnar Crashes the Party!

Seth Rollins loves an entrance, and tonight was no different. A pack of masked men flooded the ringside area, and right when you thought it was some kind of ambush, the leader ripped his mask off — Seth Rollins, grinning like the absolute chaos agent he is. He grabbed a mic and made things very clear: he built The Vision, and he is going to be the one to tear it down. Nobody near Paul Heyman is safe, he warned. Whether you're Bron Breakker on the shelf, a hanger-on like Logan Paul, or Austin Theory trying to find relevance — if you're standing next to Heyman, you're a target.

He reminded everyone that two weeks ago, he drove a steel chair into Paul Heyman's back and stomped his head onto the mat. And clearly, he enjoyed every second of it.

Then Heyman's music hit. Now, Paul Heyman showing up disheveled, unshaven, and sporting a bloodshot eye is not what you'd call a good look — but he still had that signature swagger. He told Rollins it was time to FAFO, started counting down, and out came Brock Lesnar. The Beast went through Rollins's masked minions like they were made of paper.

But just as it seemed like Lesnar was about to get his hands on Rollins himself, the massive Oba Femi charged down to the ring and absolutely levelled Lesnar with a thunderous Powerbomb. The crowd lost it. Femi slowly rose, locked eyes with the WrestleMania sign, and pointed at it. The message was loud and clear — Oba Femi wants Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42, and honestly, after that Powerbomb, who is going to tell him no?

El Grande Americano vs. Original El Grande Americano

Look, this feud has been going on for a while now, and at this point it's become a fun little sideshow. The "new" El Grande Americano came to the ring with Rayo and Bravo in his corner, while the Original put up a decent fight early — landing a Rolling Liger Kick and throwing some stiff chops. But in the end, El Grande Americano got the better of his predecessor and picked up the win.

With Chad Gable still on the injured list, WWE will likely look to blow this whole thing off at WrestleMania in a Mask vs. Mask match, which could actually be a lot of fun if given the right stage.

Winner: El Grande Americano

Roman Reigns Is Back — And He Has Something to Say to CM Punk

Roman Reigns walked into the Frost Bank Center tonight, and the building felt it immediately. Jimmy and Jey Uso were right there to greet him, and backstage, Reigns made his feelings crystal clear. CM Punk's recent comments about burying Reigns "next to his father Sika" clearly hit a nerve — and Reigns wasn't hiding it. He told The Usos the entire Bloodline should be offended, not just him personally.

In a second backstage segment, Reigns drove the point home further. He doesn't want or need an apology from Punk. There's no peace summit happening here. He was going to find Punk himself, and whatever happened between them before or after WrestleMania is a footnote — because on that weekend, CM Punk belongs to him.

Liv Morgan Sends a Message — The Judgment Day Is Her Show Now

Finn Bálor is out, and Liv Morgan has made absolutely sure everybody knows it. Earlier in the night, The Judgment Day was shown in their clubhouse — celebrating, laughing, and literally throwing Bálor's merchandise in the bin. It was petty, it was ruthless, and honestly, it was pretty entertaining.

Morgan then stepped out and addressed the faction's future head on. Bálor, she said, was no longer up to standard. Under her leadership, Judgment Day is heading into WrestleMania stronger than ever. Whether you love her or hate her, Liv Morgan running this faction has been one of the more compelling stories on Raw in recent months, and tonight only added fuel to that fire.

WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship: AJ Lee (c) vs Bayley

These two delivered a proper championship match. Bayley brought everything she had — she was aggressive, focused, and clearly desperate to reclaim a championship-level spotlight. AJ Lee, however, was sharp all night. She caught Bayley in her signature Black Widow submission, and after a struggle, Bayley had no choice but to tap out. AJ Lee retains.

But here's the thing — the moment the bell rang, Becky Lynch was already on her way down. What followed was brutal. Lynch threw Lee into the barricade, ground her across the steel, and continued the assault even as referees and road agents tried to pull her off. She grabbed the Women's Intercontinental Championship, held it high for the crowd to see, and then dropped it right onto AJ Lee's body.

Becky Lynch has issued her WrestleMania challenge in the most Becky Lynch way possible — not with words, but with violence.

Winner and STILL Women's Intercontinental Champion: AJ Lee (via Submission)

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Penta (c) vs Dragon Lee

Penta opened the second hour by throwing out an open challenge, and Dragon Lee stepped up to answer it. What followed was a really fun match — two lucha-influenced guys with incredible athleticism going at it at full speed. Penta eventually hit his flip piledriver and got the three count, walking away with the title still around his waist.

The moment after the match was genuinely touching, though. Instead of any heat or bad blood, Penta and Dragon Lee embraced in the ring and raised each other's hands. In a world of cheap turns and manufactured drama, it was refreshing to see two competitors simply show each other respect.

Backstage, there was a funny moment brewing. Je'Von Evans praised Dragon Lee's performance, and Kofi Kingston showed up again trying to recruit Evans into his growing group — this time putting Dragon Lee down in the process. Evans wasn't having it. When Danhausen tried to worm his way into Kofi's faction instead and got rejected, he attempted to hit Kofi with one of his infamous curses. Kofi, quick as ever, shoved Grayson Waller into the way, and Danhausen accidentally cursed him instead. Waller's face was priceless.

Winner and STILL Intercontinental Champion: Penta (via Pinfall)

Paul Heyman Lays Down the Law for Logan Paul and Austin Theory

This was a really well-done backstage segment. Austin Theory was fired up and wanted to go after Seth Rollins — understandable, given everything that's been going on. But Heyman shut him down immediately and explained the bigger picture. Championships equal leverage. Leverage equals opportunity. The path doesn't go through Rollins right now — it goes through The Usos and the Tag Team Titles.

Logan Paul listened quietly, nodded, and then told Heyman the titles were as good as theirs. He also casually dropped that he'd be handling LA Knight along the way, because apparently one feud isn't enough for him. Heyman was pleased. The Vision has a plan, and that's usually when things get dangerous.

Nattie versus Maxxine Dupri

A relatively quick one here. Nattie got Maxxine Dupri in the Sharpshooter and there was no escaping it. Dupri tapped, and Nattie picked up the submission win.

Winner: Nattie (via Submission)

Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer vs Raquel Rodriguez

This was a physically demanding matchup. Raquel Rodriguez is one of the most powerful women in WWE, and she made Vaquer work hard for everything she got tonight. Liv Morgan was at ringside doing her usual interference routine, but Vaquer had the awareness and the toughness to push through it all and get the pin. A big non-title win for the champion on the road to WrestleMania.

Backstage after the match, things got interesting in the women's division. Lyra Valkyria approached Bayley and offered a compliment — which then turned into a conversation about teaming up to pursue the Women's Tag Team Championships. Elsewhere, Asuka and Kairi Sane crossed paths in a tense backstage encounter, hinting that even the reformed Kabuki Warriors may not be entirely on the same page. That's a thread worth watching.

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer (Non-Title Match)

Roman Reigns vs. CM Punk — Face to Face in the Main Event!

This was the moment the entire night was building to, and it absolutely delivered.

Roman Reigns came out, soaked in the reception from San Antonio, and called out the World Heavyweight Champion. CM Punk walked out with that signature smirk, title over his shoulder, not backing down for even a second. The two stood in the center of the ring and the verbal back and forth was electric.

Punk took a shot at Reigns by saying he would never call him "Joe" — because that would be disrespectful to a real Samoan he loves very much. A clear dig referencing Samoa Joe, and the crowd absolutely ate it up. Reigns didn't flinch. He pointed right back at Punk, told him he was shaming them, and then landed the verbal killshot — "You're just OLD."

Punk punched him.

The arena exploded. Adam Pearce and a wave of security guards rushed to the ring and physically forced the two men apart, but the damage was done — in the best possible way. WrestleMania 42 cannot come fast enough. Roman Reigns and CM Punk are ready to tear each other apart, and after tonight, so is every single fan watching.
