WWE Smackdown Results 8/30: Cody-Kevin Faceoff, US and Women's title matches & more

Welcome to 'The Sportz Chronicle' . Today we will be providing you with the results of '"WWE Smackdown " which was a go-home show for  WWE's PLE Bash in Berlin. Before the beginning of the show, WWE had advertised many events and matches such as LA Knight's US Title Open Challenge, Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens face to face, Nia Jax(c) vs Michin for the Women's title match, Angel and Berto vs Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin. 

Results of the Aug. 30, 2024 edition of WWE SmackDown from Berlin, Germany:

1. United States Championship : LA Knight (c) retained his US Championship against Ludwig Kaiser in a hard-fought battle.

2. Tag Team Action : Legado del Fantasma defeated Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin. This match was a good tag team match. Corbin has been doing well since he turned babyface.

3. Cody Rhodes & Kevin Owens : Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens stood toe-to-toe in a war of words regarding their upcoming championship match at "Bash in Berlin." Owens expressed concern about Cody's injury but emphasized he wants a fair win, while Cody indicated the importance of their relationship after the match.

4. Women's Championship : Nia Jax defeated Michin in a Street Fight to retain her WWE Women's title. Tiffany Stratton teased a Money in the Bank cash-in on Jax later but retreated when confronted by her. Stratton was then targeted by Bayley upon her return.

5. Solo Sikoa : In a promo, Solo Sikoa made it clear he will challenge for the Undisputed WWE Championship, regardless of who leaves "Bash in Berlin" as the winner.

6. Carmelo Hayes vs. Andrade : This highly competitive match showcased both superstars' athleticism, with Carmelo Hayes picking up the win over Andrade with an impressive finisher.

These events set the stage for Sunday's "Bash in Berlin," where several feuds and storylines are expected to reach their climax. It will be interesting to see what happens at the "Bash in Berlin" today. Stay tuned to get the results.
